Light Way Church invests in lasting relationships that help people, institutions, and ministries become stronger. Our work spans local care, global church development, education, family support, financial formation, and professional mentorship.
OUR APPROACH
We seek to pair generosity with relationship, stewardship, and long-term capacity. That means supporting trusted partners consistently, helping students finish, strengthening families, and sharing knowledge that equips people for the future.
Ongoing local support
Light Way Church supports Star of Hope on an ongoing basis—not only during a single seasonal drive. This continuing commitment helps strengthen care for people and families experiencing homelessness.
Global church development
We helped launch a church in Pakistan, supported its early foundation, and helped its leaders start a business so the ministry could move toward long-term self-sufficiency.
Education and opportunity
We established a $300,000 scholarship endowment at Prairie View A&M University. The endowment is designed to help first-generation college students and students nearing graduation access scholarship support and finish strong.
Long-term school partnership
Instead of limiting outreach to one-time giveaways, we are building a sustained relationship with an adopted school through school supplies, spiritual partnership, encouragement, and consistent support.
Whole-family care
We offer pastoral counseling, marriage counseling, and other forms of relational and spiritual support. Requests are handled with care and appropriate confidentiality.
Stewardship and stability
Our financial-literacy work helps individuals and families build practical habits, strengthen financial stewardship, and pursue sustainable generational wealth.
Career formation
Drawing on Dr. Michael L. Johnson’s engineering leadership, this ministry helps people enter and navigate technical careers. His professional service includes shepherding, leading, or recruiting more than 150 new hires and mentoring approximately 70 established-career professionals.
