It is with sincere gratitude and Christian love that I extend this letter to Pastor Dr. Michael Lynn Johnson and the entire Light Way Church family.
Throughout the years, GOD has a way of connecting people, ministries, and assignments according to HIS divine purpose. Some relationships are established for a season, while others become part of the foundation upon which GOD continues to build. I am grateful for the fellowship, support, encouragement, and commitment to the Word of GOD that I have witnessed through Dr. Michael Johnson and Light Way Church.
As an author, educator, and Founder of Dr. Ann’s Biblical Educational Institute (DABEI²), I believe strongly that biblical knowledge must never replace our responsibility to study the Scriptures carefully and faithfully. We must continually ask, “Where is that written?” and allow the Word of GOD — in its proper context — to govern what we believe, teach, and practice.
As the Apostle Paul instructed Timothy:
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” · KJV
Context Governs Meaning. Truth Requires Discipline.
Dr. Johnson, I honor your service to the Body of Christ and your continued commitment to shepherding GOD's people. To the members of Light Way Church, I encourage you to continue growing in the knowledge of GOD's Word, strengthening your faith, and allowing Scripture — not tradition, repetition, assumption, or popular opinion — to remain the foundation upon which your understanding is built.
My prayer is that the written works GOD has allowed me to produce will serve not merely as books to be read, but as tools that encourage believers to open their Bibles, examine the Scriptures, ask questions, seek understanding, and grow spiritually.
May Light Way Church continue to be a light pointing men, women, and families toward Jesus Christ and the truth of His Word.
